Running from the 7th - 10th June at The Host Gallery in London is a series of events entitled "Why I Love Photography" organised by Troika Editions artist Jan von Holleben and his collective "photodebut".
This week long jamboree will culminate in a big party on the 10th June where you can meet members of the collective and see the fruits of their latest collaboration, the production of their second portfolio book published through Jan's own imprint, The Photographer's Office.
Starting today and for the whole of June we will be offering all our readers a special offer on our own collection of books. Simply add the word BOOKS into the discount box in the shopping basket and you will receive 10% off the published price.
We Recommend: Summer Issue 1000 Words
The online art photography magazine, 1000 Words has just launched its summer issue.
Featuring essays by Lucy Davies and Louise Clements [Troika Editions' Critics in February and April] and work by Massimo Vitali, Michael Corridore and Sarah Pickering amongst others, there is a feast of photography and articles to see and read.
Of particular interest was "A Room with a View" by a Nuno Cera, whose multi reflections bring the outside in and visa versa, creating a beautifully confused surface. MORE>>
