Using the transformative light of twilight winter evenings, she has conjured up romantic scenes; lonely churches bathed in their internal light; apartment blocks nestling amongst trees and a Russian bath house, wrapped in mist and illuminated with fairy lights, promising perhaps an evening of magical entertainment.
Iveta's work is more than a simple topographical record of the places she found. Rather she creates a world that is not quite real and that exists far from the everyday. Which is contains a quiet beauty tinged with a hint of melancholy.
