Contacting 50 people, some friends and some complete strangers, Noemie asked them to tell her a personal story; a desire or dream, fantasy or obsession. After interviewing each of her subjects she then planned stage settings and photographed each person acting out their story to produce a visual interpretation of their secret.

On the roof top of Noemie's family home in Paris, her mother, Dominique, realises her fantasy of being russian. With the use of simple props; a fur hat and shawl, Noemie suggests a cold Moscow night. Using curtains Noemie creates a temporary shelter, evoking of a hideaway room, nestling on the roof tops of a city at twilight.
