There are too many, but up there would be William Eggleston.

What artwork, where money is no object, would you like to hang on your wall?

A favourite would be Paul Klee's "Two Men Meet, Each Believing the Other to Be of Higher Rank".

What is the worst commission you have ever had?

Product shots for a clothing company. I was ready to open a vein...

What is the best commission you have ever had? A 3-year commission to document a restoration project.

Which famous artists, living or dead, would you invite to a dinner party?

Marx (Karl and Groucho), Freud, Frank Zappa, Bill Hicks and Marlene Dietrich (I know they're not all artists...)

When are you at your happiest?

Two pints in and good conversation.

What is your most treasured possession?

My Mamiya 7 – sad, but true.

What book are you reading at the moment?

"Experience" by Martin Amis – fearless writing!
