Issa Randall grew up in Seattle, Washington State, moving to Dayton Ohio where he studied for his BA in Communications at the University of Dayton, Ohio. It was while at Dayton that Issa developed his interest in photography and on graduating he moved to the UK where he completed his MA in Photography at the University of Arts, London.

Issa's work has been exhibited widely both in solo and group shows, most recently alongside members of his photo collective Latitude at Format '09 with "I always knew you'd come back". Previous shows include, "I am a roadside bomb" at White Hart, London, 2008; "Circles of Latitude" at Four Corners Gallery, London, 2008; "Powers of Nightmares" at Well Gallery, London, 2007 and "Television Isolation" at both the Miami Valley Cooperative Gallery and the Actors Theatre of Louisville, USA in 2006.
