An informal Q & A

Which photographer or artist do you most admire?

Only one? That's tough. I will have to say today, Magritte, but there are many many more and this might change tomorrow.

What artwork, where money is no object, would you like to hang on your wall?

I'm not a big fan of originals but if it's a painting it will be a Klimt (one of the big ones) and if it is a photograph then something by Ansel Adams.

What is the worst commission you have ever had?

Shooting kids and animals playing together for a stock library, it was painful, worst day of my professional life. When you need to pay rent, you do whatever it takes.

What is the best commission you have ever had?

Shooting Gary Kasparov, you would be surprised how much fun he is.

Which famous artists, living or dead, would you invite to a dinner party?

Banksy, I would love to see his face.

When are you at your happiest?

Working with friends.

What book are you reading at the moment?

The Wind-up Bird Chronicle, Murakami rocks!

What made you laugh recently?

Last chapter of One Piece, a Japanese anime.

What really winds you up?

Myself.

What would your dream project be?

Something that includes travelling and no clients.

What do you do when not working?

Work.

How would you like to be remembered?

I'm not fussed about being remembered, I won't be here.

What music would you like played at your funeral?

Something by Ojos de Brujo.
