Which photographer or artist do you most admire?

The sculptor James Turrell.

What artwork, where money is no object, would you like to hang on your wall?

I would build James Turrell's "Skyscape" into the ceiling of my living room.

What is the best commission you have ever had?

To build a public sculpture in St Perpetua, Spain. I was invited to live in a beautiful historical public building during the three months of the construction and had two excellent restaurants to eat in for free.

Which famous artists, living or dead, would you invite to a dinner party?

Kurt Schwitters, Joseph Beuys, Andy Goldsworthy, James Turrell.

When are you at your happiest?

When I have free time and money for my art-projects.

What is your most treasured possession?

My optimism.

What made you laugh recently?

I´m laughing all day...

What really winds you up?

Ignorant and egoistic people.

What would your dream project be?

To travel around the world and make light & shadow photography of the architecture of Tadao Ando.

What do you do when not working?

Travelling, collecting music, DJ-ing, dancing, cooking, meeting friends and much more...

How you would you like to be remembered?

As someone who sharpened human perception of beautiful simplicity.

What music would you like played at your funeral?

Something by the Buena Vista Social Club.
