"Grober Unhold" by Emil Nolde. One of the secret unpainted pictures.
What is the worst commission you have ever had?
When working as an sculptor I was given a commission by the BBC. My brief was to sculpt a 3ft sized exact copy of "The Kiss" by Auguste Rodin in just one week. I hardly slept at all. I didn't have time.
What is the best commission you have ever had?
The same as the worst but the money was fantastic.
Which famous artists, living or dead, would you invite to a dinner party?

When I have just completed an image I am very happy with especially if it has been difficult to make.

My camera and some old photographs of family no longer alive.
What book are you reading at the moment?
"Falling Leaves" by Adeline Yen Mah.

Creature Comforts.
What really winds you up?
Over usage of the word absolutely.

Grow vegetables on an allotment, read, watch films, listen to music, walk in the country.
How would you like to be remembered?
As an artist, photographer and person not afraid to protest against what I consider to be criminal acts against the environment and wildlife. Also as someone whose work influenced others.
What music would you like played at your funeral?
A lot of my friends and relations are musician/song writers. Perhaps they might rustle up a little number for me, but if they don't I won't mind because I'll be dead.
