Photographing every religious building in Tower Hamlets - not only fascinating for itself, but also as it allowed the time to explore so much (I did the whole thing on foot)

When are you at your happiest?
Pottering about a city, looking at what there is to be found, and in the safe knowledge that there are some friends not too far away, preferably equipped with some good food and wine.

A note from my grandmother telling me to cherish "all the beautiful things you've seen and all the beautiful things you are going to see"

The city in all its various layers & manifestations, physical and historical.
